White vitrified ceramic sauce / gravy boat with handle and pouring lip, from the Menu range designed by Hermann Bongard for Figgjo Flint in 1950. The pattern resembles cross-stitch embroidery in dark blue and green and rust red, featuring an anchor, crown and fish(?).
"Menu tableware line is inspired by traditional Norwegian handicraft patterns that were used to decorate the bridal trousseau. These cross stitch patterns have been copied on the off-white tableware in purple, green and blue. The Menu tableware was produced from 1950 to the early 1960s"
