Iconic 1960s ceramic topped coffee table on chrome legs, designed by Juliette Belarti for Adri, Belgium. The glazed tiles feature a fantastic leaf pattern in ochre, orange, red and brown, outlined in off-white on a deep brown background. The graphic decoration makes a bold and memorable statement piece.
The chrome frame borders the 24 tiled top which sits on two sturdy tubular legs, joined by a low rectangular stretcher and finished with splayed triangular feet. The chrome feet have a rosewood infill. The feet ends are new replacements.
The table is in overall excellent vintage condition. Two tiles are cracked and one has a small chip but this is not that noticeable and looks much worse in the close up photograph. There is some minor pitting to the chrome.
