A pair of tea and coffee storage jars, with teak lid, in the classic brown Heirloom range designed for Hornsea by John Clappison. The rubber seals have been replaced with new ones.

Heirloom tableware was Hornea's first extensive range of tableware, introduced in 1967. In its heyday it was so popular that the factory could not keep up with demand and, as a result, china and department stores were rationed! The range encompassed just about every item of tableware rom plates, cups and saucers through to egg cups and casserole dishes. The range was produced in brown, green and blue colourways.
