1970s chrome, teak, vinyl and glass telephone table by Chippy Heath. Five rung shelf under smoked glass top and small storage bin under removable seat pad, covered in original white vinyl. Square section chrome frame with plastic foot pads.
Chippy Heath Furniture Ltd, based in High Wycombe, was reknowned for its telephone seats and produced many mid-century designs during the 1960s and 1970s, mainly manufacuted in wood. This chrome example is therefore quite unusual but a very stylish and attractive mid-century item.
All finishes are in excellent condition.
