Oban was a landmark range for the company, changing thier hallmark style as it involved surface patterns and introudced stripes as a recurring motif. Imported Kugler coloured glass rods were drawn out and used for the coloured stripes sandwiched between two layers of glass. Widths vary depending on how the rod was drawn out and how the colour reacted to teh body glass. Orr designed a number of new shapes for the range such as the OG2.
