Caithness Lochalsh vase

Lochalsh cased glass, cylinder vase by Caithness Glass in moss green, model no. 4003. Four sizes are listed in the 1972 catalogue but these simple forms were designed by Domhnall O'Broin in 1961. Cylinder vases are also featured in the 1977 catalogue as part of the Stroma range. A very attractive, practical piece of mid-century design.
