Breakfast set comprising teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl and tongs from the Alveston range designed by Robert Welch for Old Hall in 1962. Unofficially known as Aladdin’s lamp, the teapot is much sought after and so quite scarce.

Each piece has a circular flat sided body with chamfered top and base. The teapot spout is extruded from the body and the conical lid has an inverted conical knob. Handles are a flat strip of stainless steel bent at two acute angles. The stainless steel is polished to a satin finish.

In good clean vintage condition. All items stamped: Designed by R. Welch   Old Hall England   18/8 Stainless Steel.
