Wedgwood Sheringham candlestick

A Sheringham two disk candlestick, in blue glass, designed for Wedgwood by Ronald Stennett-Willson, pattern number RSW13/2. With original Wedgwood paper label.

The Sheringham candlestick is probably Stennett-Wilson's most well known design. Produced in various hieghts with between 1 and 9 'discs or rings' on the stem, it was difficult to produce, especially tricky in the larger sizes and neccesitating two workers to make as each section was applied piece by piece.
