Figgjo Flint Clupea dish

£30.00

1960s Norwegian 'Clupea' (Herring) pattern, designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver for Figgjo Flint.

The 'Clupea', or herring, pattern is highly collectable and much sought-after. The pattern forms a band around the outside of the dish featuring a shoal of little stylized blue fishes - shown in an upright position - under a ring of slightly 'atomic' looking flower heads and onions.

The white ceramic casserole has two cut-away handles in the rim, one of which has a crack (discoloured with age). The lid is missing, so with the damage, this is reflected in the price.
