Decanter-shaped vase from the Gotland range by Arthur Wood, in dark green glaze with 'aztec' embossed pattern to the body. A fabulous piece with great presence.

Arthur wood modernised their traditional range in the late 1960s and 1970s with a range of Scandinavian-styles products of which this Gotland vase is probably the notable example. The striking element of the design is the triangular spiral 'aztec' design around the body.

In excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very minor crazing consistent with the age of the piece.

Painted 'W' mark in the centre and stamped: Gotland   Made in England
